Looking for cookies-I mean an RP partner!
Name: Stephen
Style: Third person, one-on-one, possibly with multiple characters at once
Format: AIM, Journal
Favorite Genre: Original, modern/science fiction, past/science fiction
Plays: Just original, but I'll adjust if you ask
Fan Settings: I'm big on most anime settings, along with some fantasy (particularly connected to D&D), some future (only about 10, maybe 20 years) and past going to about 200 years
Favorite Theme / Concept: Politics, Social Struggle, Un/Successful (if disfunctional) romances/relationships, Troubles with age (youth or seniority), Psychology in general, relations with conflicts
Rate your play: PG through NC-17, possibly PWP if it actually advances the plot
Would you play ...
- yaoi? Haven't tried, but willing
- yuri? Also haven't tried, but still willing
- a death scene? Yes
- a villian? I'll do the best I can
- an otherwise controverisal character? No, no, no...well, maybe...yeah, why the hell not?
- multiple characters? I guess you should ask the other guys. Huh? Oh, they say it's fine. They also wanted to ask if your gonna bring snacks. No? Suurrrre? Fine, whatever. *mumbles* And I was gonna bring some cake for jerk like you *mumble*.
Peeves: I think the thing I hate the most is loop holes. Call me kind of anal, but when something doesn't make any sense whatsoever with no hope of ever doing so, it just doesn't feel like reality (used loosely). The usual spelling and grammar errors can get annoying, but the small, random ones are fine.
Adores: Characters out of the "norm". I mean, I'm sure there are many nice, well-put into backgrounds for angsty, unknowning teens and young adults, but I like to see something different (not that there aren't characters like that; I just get to much of them). I also like subtext, especially if the text is quite simple. I also have an interest in mature characters, though immature characters might be nice, if they played in a mature way.
Interested in: Well, I would like something long term. I leave it up to you to decide how long that is, exactly. A short fling could be fun, but not as filling as one that is built apon. I sometimes write fable-like stories (at least the moral part), so I apologize if I do so and you don't find an great interest in it, and I will try to cut down.
Sample: The man sat in the middle of the bench, people passing him by constantly. He was scruffy looking; unkempt, unshaven, looking to have not bathed in weeks (the smell apparent from the way people swerved around him like they were just walking around a sort of barrier). People would ignore him, take pity on him, or just stare at him with prejudice, though hidden, as it is often in the city. Many would just dismiss him as homeless, a hobo, a tramp, a bum. Little did those onlookers realize, this man was perhaps more important than what they, in unison, had, are and will accomplish in their entire lives.
AIM: Inhumanite
Yahoo mail: meriles_stephen
Comments: I live in the eastern time zone and I'm usually on in the morning or afternoon, night occasionally. I'm a little rusty, but I have about 3 years of experience. I usually play males, but have some experience with the other gender.
